The MSU Radiation Safety Manual (link opens a new page) provides detailed MSU operating policies and procedures regarding the safe use of radioactive materials on campus. This manual is a part of our radioactive materials license.

The regulations (link opens a new page) issued by Mississippi State Department of Health govern the use of radioactive materials by licensees in Mississippi. The specific sections applicable to campus radioactive materials work are Section 100, Section 200, Section 300, Section 400, Section 1000, and Section 1300.
