Radiological Materials Users

A student, employee, or visitor wishing to work in a radioactive materials lab must provide some basic information to Radiological Safety and complete MSU required training.  These requirements apply to anyone with access to a radioactive materials laboratory even if he/she will not be actually using radioactive materials.

The initial data collection and training is delivered by WebCT.   Visitors must contact Information Technology Services (link opens up a new page) and obtain a NetId before accessing the course material.  MSU students and employees must use his/her NetId to log onto WebCT.

Go to http://webct.msstate.edu
Go to External Courses
Enter your NetID and your password in the login box.  (Your login password is your banner password.)
When you have logged onto WebCT, click on Add Course.  
Select Radiation Safety Introduction.
Click the Register box.
Return to MyWebCT.
Review the material in the course and complete the Question Set.
The information that you provide will be reviewed and you will be contacted by email with additional instructions.
