The Research Security Officer fills the role of Facility Security Officer and is also responsible for the university export compliance programs. Chris retired from the Air Force after 23 years of distinguished service before moving back home to join the MSU team. He is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was also awarded a Professional Manager Certification and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the National Guard Bureau.
