Jess is a graduate of University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science. She has worked within the animal research field for 12+ years. She began in working within research labs running an array of rodent studies and within the last 4 years she has entered the world of research compliance. She came to us here at MSU in the Fall of 2023 and is excited to dive into the vast research we have to offer. Currently her main role with the ORC&S is with the IACUC which is tasked with the review and oversight of the animal care and use program using animals in research, teaching, or testing, to ensure the humane and ethical treatment of animals. She enjoys working closely with investigators helping with their protocols and all areas of animal research at MSU.
