As the Executive Director of ORC&S, Kacey coordinates a team of professionals that oversee the areas of Human Subjects Protections, Animal Care and Use, Financial Conflict of Interest, Responsible Conduct of Research, Export Control, and Research Security. Kacey has been at MSU since 2001 - first in Sponsored Projects for 5 years before joining ORC&S in 2007. Kacey received a bachelor's degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia, an M.A. in Science Education from the University of Texas, and she holds the Certified Research Administrator, the Certified IRB Professional, and the Certified Professional IACUC Administrator qualifications.
