Monica is a Mississippi State University alumna with a professional background that includes serving as Quality Assurance Officer and Lead Auditor for the Mississippi State Chemical Laboratory, as well as Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for an orthopedic surgeon involved in three cross-institutional clinical research trials. Her experience in regulatory compliance, auditing, and patient well-being supports her role as Compliance Administrator II for the Office of Research Compliance and Security, which she began in January 2026. She is pleased to support the work of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) in safeguarding human subjects and promoting ethical research initiatives.
